Another successful year for the 2021 WHAS Crusade of Children because of YOU!

Ryan Houchen    June 8, 2021    No Comments

The Firefighters serving the Greenville and Floyds Knobs communities would like to Thank You for another successful Crusade for Children. The outpouring of support for this great cause continues to amaze us every year. We thank you for your patience at the roadblocks and neighborhood door to door. Thank you to all who donated and to those that gave up their time to help us collect. Thank you to all the food and beverage donors who kept our crews fed, hydrated, and going strong over the last two weeks. We encourage everyone in these two communities to patronize these establishments, listed below, and show them your support for supporting such a great cause. The Lafayette Township Fire Protection District proudly announces the grand total collected from and for the communities of Greenville and Floyds Knobs for the 68th WHAS Crusade for Children is $104,483.00. June 6, 2021, topped them all. At the conclusion of the 68th annual WHAS Crusade for Children, the final tote board read $5.1 million. Since 1954, the Crusade has now raised a cumulative total of $200 million.

In an emotional weekend, honoring many fallen firefighters, the people of Kentuckiana responded.
