A lot has been accomplished in the first fifteen days that Lafayette Township Fire Protection District began managing the Grenville Township Fire Protection District fire and emergency services.

Crews have prepared GVTFPD station two for twenty-four-hour staffing, repairing equipment, assessing further needs for the department, training, and familiarization with department equipment.

There have been two occasions where citizens stopped at Greenville Station two needing help. One was having a medical emergency, and another to report one. Crews were there. We’ve helped other neighboring departments with Greenville resources while still covering the Greenville district. All the volunteers have been an intricate part of all of this as well. There will be more to come throughout the year, and we will keep you updated.Structure fire Tri-Township
