Sunday Night at 10:30 P.M., Lafayette Twp. Fire Protection District responded to automatic aid with Georgetown Township Fire Protection District on a structure fire in Georgetown at 9130 Nina Drive. It was reported the residence was well involved with fire and all the occupants were out of the home. Firefighters encountered heavy fire and part of the floor burned away in the structure. The fire was under control about forty-five minutes after the initial dispatch. Crews remained on scene for almost 4 hours making sure any remaining hidden fires were extinguished. One juvenile was treated for smoke inhalation. No word on their condition. Other fire departments that responded to the fire included Greenville Township Volunteer Fire Department.
