Lafayette Township Fire Department recently visited with Floyds Knobs Elementary Junior Girl Scout Troop 2207. The troop was learning about first aid and preparing kits but wanted to take it a step further. They wanted to prepare for CPR training and what to expect. The firefighters of A-Crew gave them a hands on demonstration of CPR and how Automated External Defibrillators work. The girls were quick studies and did a great job.
The troop’s leader sent a letter of praise.
I cannot tell you how amazing your guys were tonight with our troop. They were patient, informative, and let the girls get hands on and ask anything and everything they could think of. I am so appreciative. …And for the girls to realize they CAN make a big difference from what they learned tonight. They were all very excited and confident after tonight.
We would like to thank the leaders of troop 2207 and it’s members for alowing us to share our knowledge.
