pltstronggtltfont colorredgtLafayette Twp Fire Protection District responded with Georgetown Twp Fire Protection District to a garage fire at 531 Old Corydon Ridge Rd. First arriving units on scene reported heavy smoke coming from the building which also double as a wood working shop for the home owner. GTFPD Quad 22s crew was able to get the fire quickly under control in the initial attack on the fire. Lafayette Twp responded with Engine 11 Tanker 12 Chief Klein and Dep. Chief Allen. The fire destroyed most of the contents of the garage but damage to the structure was minimal. Initial findings put a possible cause of the fire to be items to close to wood burning stove.ltstronggtltfont colorgtbrp
